It seems that it is epidemic in the business world these days that people do not get back to you. Even when you are the customer and you need their services, and are paying for their services. I have an instance where a vendor has set up 4 meeting times with me, and has blown off every meeting time without even letting me know something came up. I have 3 calls in to my Wells Fargo banker and no return call. This happens ALL THE TIME from companies big and small.
But this is also an opportunity. Whatever success I have had in business is because I am hyper-responsive to my customer’s needs. If I don’t answer the phone, I will call you back at the earliest possible minute. I respond to emails right away.I will never leave you hanging.
Lesson to be learned… if you want to be successful in business, just be responsive to your customers. Assuming you are competent at what you do, you will shine above most, if not all of your competition.
